Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Service
London Bathroom Design Co. (“we”, “us”, “our”, “LBD Co.”) provides a design-only service that includes, where applicable:

On-site measured survey (only where included in the chosen package)
Floor plans, wall elevations & 3D visuals
Layout recommendations
Product suggestions and a non-binding shopping list
Guidance on bathroom planning decisions
Introductions to recommended showrooms and suppliers

This service is not architectural, structural, plumbing, electrical, or engineering advice.
All designs are visual and conceptual, not construction drawings.

2. Site Surveys & Measurement Accuracy
Site surveys are included only when stated in the purchased package.
If a survey is required but not included, it must be booked separately and is chargeable.
Measurements taken during a site survey are gathered as accurately as reasonably possible based on the conditions at the time.
Building work (e.g., plastering, tiling, wall straightening, pipe boxing) can and does alter dimensions.

We strongly advise that:

Final measurements are taken by the installer
All product sizes, clearances, and fitting requirements are confirmed with the relevant trades before ordering
You agree that site changes, inaccuracies, or deviations are outside our control.

3. Measurement Verification
Regardless of who took the measurements:
All measurements — including those taken by LBD Co. — must be independently verified by the installer.

LBD Co. shall not be liable for:

Incorrect measurements
Changes in site conditions
Installation errors or misinterpretations
Any costs, delays, product issues, or remedial work arising from measurement discrepancies

The sole financial liability of LBD Co. is limited strictly to the design pack fee paid.

4. Installation Responsibility
Unless a separate, formal project management agreement is signed, LBD Co. is not responsible for:

Any on-site decisions made by installers
Product suitability for the site
Placement of pipework, electrics, lighting, brassware, or fixtures
Compliance with UK building regulations
Misinterpretation of drawings
Any installation outcome

Installers must treat our drawings as guidance only and confirm feasibility before works begin.

5. Product Recommendations & Shopping List
We provide product suggestions and a shopping list as a reference only.
This list must be verified by the installer or supplier before ordering.

We do not guarantee:

Stock availability
Lead times
Product compatibility
Product suitability
Accuracy of supplier descriptions
Any warranties from third-party suppliers

All product choices and final decisions remain the client’s and installer’s responsibility.

6. Revisions & Changes
Unless stated otherwise in writing, your design package includes:

Up to 3 free revision rounds per room/design pack.

We are reasonable and flexible, but the following applies:

Additional revisions beyond the included amount may incur a fee
Design changes required due to installer comments, site changes, or product substitutions are treated as revisions
Once a design is signed off or marked approved by the client, further changes may be chargeable.

7. Visual Accuracy & Rendering Disclaimer
3D visuals and elevations are illustrative and cannot guarantee real-world appearance.

Actual results may vary due to:
Lighting conditions
Material batches
Paint/tile variations
Installation methods

8. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
Ownership of the design pack passes to the client upon full payment.
However, all intellectual property rights remain with London Bathroom Design Company Ltd.

The client is granted a licence to:

Use the design only for the property stated in the design pack
Share the design with their installer or chosen suppliers solely for the purpose of completing that project

The client may not:

Edit, alter, modify, or recreate the designs
Remove LBD Co. branding
Resell or redistribute the design in any form
Use the design for any other property or project
Provide the design to third-party designers or competitors without written consent

Any violation may result in legal action.

9. Payments & Refunds
All design packs must be paid in full before any work begins
Payment confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions
This service is non-refundable once work has started
No responsibility is accepted for costs arising from installation, products, or construction decisions.

10. Client Responsibilities
By commissioning our service, you agree to:

For measured surveys:

Provide safe and unobstructed access
Ensure the space is accessible, empty where possible, and representative of its final layout

For remote/DIY measurement designs:

Provide accurate, clear, readable measurements
Supply photographs and relevant site information
Accept full responsibility for the accuracy of measurements provided

For all clients:

Independently verify all measurements with the installer
Confirm all product choices with relevant specialists before ordering
Sign off on any layout, product, or design decision
Understand that installers, not LBD Co., make the final call on feasibility

11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

LBD Co. is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or financial loss
We are not responsible for remedial works, reordering costs, stock issues, labour costs, delays, or product faults
Our total liability is capped at the amount paid for the design service

This clause does not exclude liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be handled exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

13. Acceptance of Terms
By requesting our services, making payment, or instructing LBD Co. to begin any design work, you are confirming that you have read, understood,
and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.

A physical or digital signature is not required for these terms to take effect. Engagement of our services constitutes acceptance.
